Discover a New Path: Ketamine-Assisted Therapy with
Dr. Sasha Raskin, LPC, NMIT
Welcome! I’m Dr. Sasha Raskin, and if you’ve landed here, you’re probably feeling like you’ve tried everything. Maybe you’ve been wrestling with depression or anxiety that just doesn’t seem to lift, or maybe you’re feeling stuck in a life that’s lost its sense of direction. You’re not alone, and I’m here to talk to you about a different way forward.

Why Talk Therapy Isn’t Always Enough

You might have noticed that just talking about your problems sometimes isn’t enough to create real change. Maybe you’re wondering, “What’s really stopping me?” or “Why can’t I break through these feelings?” Or perhaps life feels like it’s at a standstill, and you’re searching for a deeper sense of clarity and direction. That’s where ketamine-assisted therapy comes in.
The Transformative Power of Ketamine

Ketamine isn’t just another tool; it’s a profoundly accelerated experience. It allows you to enter a psychedelic state where the usual boundaries of the mind can soften, opening up space for deep insights and clarity. With me as your guide, you’ll have the chance to move beyond just discussing your struggles—you’ll explore new realms of understanding that can help you break through what’s been holding you back.

My Personal Journey and Professional Credentials

In my own life, I’ve walked this path. I’ve worked deeply with ayahuasca, psilocybin mushrooms, and ketamine. I know firsthand the kind of transformation these medicines can bring. I’ve seen how they can go beyond what I could achieve in individual talk therapy, group therapy, or coaching alone.

Professionally, I’ve been certified by the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI), and I’m one of the first licensed Nature Medicine Facilitators in Colorado (in training, NMIT license #294). This means you’re working with someone who combines personal experience with professional training, and who truly understands the journey you’re on.

The Research and the Process

There’s solid research behind ketamine-assisted therapy. Studies show that ketamine can be highly effective for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and more. For example, research published in the American Journal of Psychiatry has shown that a significant percentage of individuals experience rapid improvement in depressive symptoms after ketamine treatment. This is more than just a temporary lift—it can open the door to lasting change.

We’ll start with a preparation session to set your intentions. Then, you’ll typically go through a series of sessions—up to 12—with integration work in between. Integration is where we take those insights and weave them into your everyday life, so the changes you experience are lasting and meaningful.

Working With Trusted Providers

I collaborate closely with ketamine providers like Journey Clinical and Skylight Psychedelics. They’ll help ensure you’re a good candidate and assist with all the steps needed to receive ketamine. This teamwork means you’ll have a full support system, from the initial consultation to the final integration session.

What to Expect and How to Begin

In a warm and conversational setting, we’ll explore your goals and set the stage for your journey. This isn’t just about a one-time experience; it’s about creating a real shift in how you feel and live. By the end of our work together, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction and a deeper connection to your own inner wisdom.

Key Facts and Research Insights

Let’s talk a bit about the science. Studies have found that ketamine therapy can lead to significant improvements in people who haven’t responded to other treatments. For example, research published in the American Journal of Psychiatry* shows that up to 70% of patients with treatment-resistant depression experienced rapid relief of symptoms after ketamine treatment. This isn’t just a temporary lift—many participants reported sustained improvement, especially when combined with integration sessions.
